The Buoy Beer Company, based in Astoria, Oregon, is welcoming and commemorating Pride Month with the introduction of a delicious and special-edition IPA that boldly supports LGBTQ+ rights.

The aptly named 'Pride IPA' is a brew that is ideally designed for warm weather enjoyment. This particular brew offers gently pleasing aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruits of other varieties, with arboreal hints of pine and citrus-spiked lemon completing the flavor profile alongside a balanced amount of hop-drawn bitterness.

Interestingly, the beer, can design and decision-making around where to direct proceeds of sales were taken with the input of Buoy Beer Company staff who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. "This involvement, as well as sales from the beer benefiting a local organization supporting queer youth, is a step in the right direction for diversity and inclusion to grow and prosper at Buoy and within our community," noted Buoy's quality assurance lead Amy Still.
