Fabled Studio Presents the New Socca Restaurant Design

Local design studio Fabled Studio designs the interior space for the Socca restaurant in London. It is defined by a series of hand-painted murals that capture the French Riviera. Co-founder of the studio Tom Strother describes the restaurant as "a pocket of Southern France in Mayfair," and explains that "Both the menu and the interior are inspired by the Côte d'Azur and Nice. They have a laidback attitude but with French finesse."

The studio restores the original terracotta tiles on the facade and also maintains the original ceiling moldings as well. Starting with the main dining area, which is dubbed the grand salon, is adorned with wooden paneling at the lower sections and the upper area has a warm tonal stucco finish. The murals are done by artist Mark Sands which are informed by Raoul Dufy's depictions of Nice.
