The Seal N’ Flip Packaging from the Lacerta Group Reduces Costs

The grab-and-go food category is getting a much-needed boost in the form of the Seal N’ Flip packaging from the Lacerta Group as a solution that can help with reducing costs, but also plastic use. The packaging design is reported to reduce packaging costs by up to 25% and puts the lidding film onto the bottom to prioritize an eye-catching profile. The packaging is also estimated by the brand to reduce plastic use by as much as 50% and is slated to be available for customers to purchase starting in August.

Vice President of marketing Craig Muldrew spoke on the Seal N’ Flip packaging saying, "Grab-and-go shelf real estate - especially in the refrigerated section - is highly competitive, so we designed the Seal N’ Flip™ packaging and stand to give brands a distinct edge. By using the stand to position products vertically to feature our unique back-facing lidding design, prepared foods are front and center, creating a standout, premium look that speaks to the way consumers shop - with their eyes first."
