Pascali Semerdjian Arquitetos is a design studio based in Sao Paulo and it gets a new renovation for a local family. It uses furniture, exposed detailing, and cladding in order to create a social space that is "vividly cosmopolitan."
It is dubbed the ER apartment and the design breaks the layout into two parts -- starting with an open social space and a guest suite on one half and private rooms on the other side. The social space has a dining and living space with multiple planted balconies. The side with private rooms is made up of the primary suite in the home, a toy room for the daughters, storage space, bedrooms, and a shared bathroom.
