Local architect Jan Lefevere has converted the OL6 building into a family home -- it once functioned as a former dental firm. The space boasts a modern backdrop with refurbished fixtures and fittings first developed in the 60s. The building is located in Kortijk and the dental practice has been vacant for many years before it was transformed into the family home now.
Lefevere explained the design project, "The previous owner had closed it off and used the space as storage. Over time, the new adjacent buildings had blocked much of the light. Valuable original elements of the building, such as the staircase, sanitary fixtures, lighting, and cabinet panels, were preserved during demolition and given a new place within the home."
