PARCO Fall/Winter 2026 Campaign Explores "NOSTALGIC FUTURE"

PARCO Fall/Winter 2026 campaign introduces the theme "NOSTALGIC FUTURE" through a visual project directed by creative director Christophe Brunnquell. The concept draws inspiration from LE COEUR JAPONAIS (The Japanese Heart), a 1927 book written by Brunnquell's great-grandfather, philosopher and writer Félicien Challaye, following his travels in Japan. The campaign references the publication's reflections on Japanese culture while connecting historical influences with contemporary fashion imagery.

The campaign was photographed inside a Western-style mansion on the outskirts of Paris using a cast of Eastern and Western models surrounded by books, sculptures and antique furnishings. Color palettes transition from autumnal ecru and navy tones to winter shades of deep red and magenta across the seasonal visuals. PARCO has also released accompanying campaign films and additional imagery through its dedicated campaign website and official YouTube channel.

Trend Themes

  1. Heritage-futurist Fashion — Archived cultural texts and family histories are becoming visual foundations for contemporary campaigns, creating space for brands to reframe nostalgia as a modern design language.
  2. Cross-cultural Storytelling — Blended Eastern and Western casting, settings and references signal new possibilities for fashion narratives that appeal to globally fluid consumer identities.
  3. Cinematic Campaign Ecosystems — Seasonal fashion imagery increasingly extends across films, websites and social channels, allowing campaigns to function as immersive content worlds rather than static advertisements.

Industry Implications

  1. Fashion Marketing — Historical inspiration paired with contemporary art direction presents fresh differentiation for retailers seeking emotionally resonant seasonal branding.
  2. Luxury Retail — Curated environments filled with books, antiques and sculpture highlight how retail campaigns can borrow from cultural institutions to elevate product storytelling.
  3. Digital Media — Campaign films and dedicated online platforms show the growing value of multimedia distribution in transforming fashion launches into shareable cultural experiences.
