Roots Celebrated Canadian Food Spots with Its Pit Stops Summer '26

Roots recently launched 'Pit Stops Summer '26,' a capsule series celebrating six iconic Canadian roadside destinations, including COWS, La Banquise, St-Viateur Bagel and Duffin's Donuts. Designed in collaboration with Toronto artist Moya Garrison-Msingwana, the collection transforms each restaurant's identity and signature menu items into wearable graphic crews, T-shirts, tote bags and caps, all crafted from 100% organic cotton in a gender-free fit.

Each food partner is represented by four pieces, while the collection launches alongside a three-day 'Route 73' pop-up at The Well in Toronto from July 29–31. The event will feature destination-inspired activations and limited merchandise runs from each participating restaurant, extending the capsule into an in-person celebration of Canadian food culture.

Roots shows how partnering with beloved local food institutions can turn regional nostalgia into a seasonal fashion collection that celebrates shared cultural identity.
