El Pollo Loco is making mouths water across the U.S. with the adding of new Mexican Shredded Beef Birria to its nationwide menu.

Available for a limited time, El Pollo Loco's new additions are inspired by Barria, which is a traditional Mexican stew made from a flavorful combination of meat and spices. The new Mexican Shredded Beef Birria option is available in the form of three different dishes, each of which is paired with a dippable birria consomé – a savory slow-simmered beef broth made up garlic, chili, and lime. Some of the delicious new entrees include the Shredded Beef Birria Stuffed Quesadilla, which pairs the Beef Birria with melted cheese, avocado, onions, and cilantro, and the Shredded Beef Birria Burrito, which combines beef, cheese, rice, beans, and sour cream with cabbage, chopped onions, and cilantro.
