Laoban and Bachan's Partnered for a New Product

Laoban and Bachan's announced a new collaboration to leverage both brand's prowess when it comes to Asian cuisine flavors and ingredients.

The partnership includes the limited-edition Laoban x Bachan's Taiwanese Popcorn chicken, which features Laban's bite-sized chicken pieces covered in Bachan's Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce. The product is thus sweet, savory and umami to make it a great alternative to takeout for enjoyment as an appetizer, snack, lunch or dinner. The product is arriving now at select Whole Foods Market locations with a wider rollout slated to continue into 2026.

Co-Founder and CEO of Laoban Patrick Coyne commented on the Laoban and Bachan's partnership saying, "This is the first-ever collaboration for Laoban, and it felt like such a natural fit. Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauce has such a rich, authentic flavor, and it’s the perfect complement to our Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken. We wanted to create a dish that’s easy to prepare at home, without sacrificing the quality and flavor that our customers expect."
