Hem Launches a New Furniture Collaboration with Designer Kwangho Lee

Hem has launched its latest collaboration with Kwangho Lee, a South Korean designer who specializes in metal art and design. Titled ‘Hunk’ and ‘Glyph’ respectively, the collection includes a lounge chair and a side table that have both adopted Lee’s aesthetic and elements from his previous works.

‘Hunk’ references the lounge chair’s oversized proportions, while the chair itself is upholstered and comes in two versions: one with armrests and one without. The chair comes in three ‘Swan,’ ‘Chocolate,’ and ‘Icicle’ colorways, and is produced sustainably using natural rubber and coconut fibers.

‘Glyph’ refers to a series of metal side tables inspired by hieroglyphics. Lee’s background in metal art is most prominent here, as the table is designed to be functional no matter what side it is placed on.

The ‘Hunk’ Chair launches at Hem on September 14 and retails for $2,549 USD.
