IKEA has begun rolling out its new Kajplats smart lighting line, with the first launch landing in Sweden and additional markets already seeing the products surface in the IKEA app. The range is Matter-compatible, allowing the bulbs to integrate easily with major smart-home platforms.
The Kajplats lineup includes multiple E27 and E14 LED options—from clear-glass white-spectrum globes and candle bulbs to opal-white versions and full color-changing models. Prices start at SEK 49 (~$5.20) for basic white-spectrum bulbs and SEK 79 (~$8.40) for clear-glass or color-capable versions. GU10 spotlights are also available in white-only and color-enabled styles.
IKEA is also offering starter kits, pairing the Bilresa dual-button remote with either E27 bulbs or a set of three GU10 lights.
All Kajplats products work with the IKEA Dirigera Hub and can be controlled through the IKEA Home Smart app, with Matter support ensuring broad compatibility across third-party ecosystems.
