India Mahdavi is a talented architect and designer who has created a stunning furniture series exclusively for Carwan Gallery. Made up of tiled tables and colorful vases, the designs are incredibly unique in that they could easily come off as more artistic than functional. Interestingly, India Mahdavi was inspired by research about the Ottoman style of making quartz tile.
The result was a series of tables that boast a fish scale pattern. India Mahdavi created a sort of abstract mural that rested on a brass base.
