The iiode Re27 is a retrofit E27 LED bulb from Swiss studio iiode, designed to fit standard sockets while featuring a modular, repair-first architecture that lets users swap clip-in components when parts fail. It was introduced as iiode’s debut product and presented during Milan Design Week 2026, featuring die-cast recycled-aluminum construction and integrated smart controls.
The design emphasizes serviceability and sustainable sourcing: most parts use recycled materials, assembly occurred in Switzerland with primarily EU-made components, and the textured aluminum body aids passive heat dissipation. The bulb delivers high CRI, flicker-free output, tunable color temperature and intensity, and built-in smart control without requiring an external hub.
iiode also commissioned eight design studios to create dedicated lampshades for the Re27, positioning the bulb as a design object rather than a disposable commodity. For consumers it reduces waste and maintenance costs while improving light quality, aligning with growing demand for repairable, responsibly made home electronics.
