The Boots GLP-1 support zones have been developed by the retailer in response to the increasing prominence of GLP-1 weight loss medications as a way to offer support for shoppers who are taking them.
The shopping zones will be installed into more than 220 locations where shoppers will find a curated range of products including ones that were strategically chosen to help consumers who are on GLP-1 medications. This includes solutions for gastro and gut support, hair loss, skin elasticity, energy, sleep and nutrition, while also encouraging curious shoppers to speak to a pharmacist to find out more.
Chief Healthcare Officer Jamie Kerruish spoke on the Boots GLP-1 support zones saying, "We continue to grow our weight-loss offering both digitally and in-store, expanding the range of clinically proven options that can be tailored to an individual’s preferences, lifestyle and personal needs. Our holistic offering covering before, during and following treatment seeks to ensure customers have everything they need to make long-lasting sustainable changes that can improve their health outcomes."
