Crayola Debuts its 'Creative Acts of Color' Initiative

Crayola’s 'Creative Acts of Color' is a year-long global initiative designed to cultivate imagination and self-expression through the evocative power of color.

The campaign opens with "an inclusive call to action, inspired by nine-year-old Caydence from Texas and her poignant artwork, Colors of Emotion, which has been reimagined using Crayola’s iconic 64-count crayon box." Participants are invited to select a color from her creation and respond through their own artistic lens—whether through music, poetry, painting, dance, sculpture, code, or other expressive forms.

Contributions can be shared via social media by tagging @Crayola and using the hashtag #StayCreative. Select submissions will be featured in Crayola’s experiential and digital programming throughout the year. Additionally, in recognition of Caydence’s inspiration, Crayola plans a special reveal later this summer. With this initiative, Crayola underscores its enduring commitment to creative exploration, highlighting the emotional resonance of color and its ability to connect and inspire across generations.
