Norm Architects Created a Serene Contemporary Dental Clinics

Danish studio Norm Architects continue to champion the contemporary dental clinic aesthetic that has been so popular for design-minded brands. The client, Antwerp which specializes in dental surgery, wanted to "defy traditional, more clinical designs." As a result, Norm Architects emphasized the use of unusual materials for medical spaces.

The chic clinic is officially named Dentology+ and the interior takes cues from art galleries and spa-like venues. The material palette is neutral to "evoke a sense of calm." The space, which includes a basement are and a ground floor, is accented by warm oak that contrasts with smooth concrete. The furniture also shares contemporary sensibilities with the interior of the dental clinic. Artwork by Sara Martinsen accents the space, fitting well with the paired-back wall.
