The Copenhagen Eye Institute by Standard Practice is designed as a clinic that also functions as a small exhibition space. The interior uses white walls, pale flooring, and continuous lighting tracks to form a clean visual field that runs across both the medical rooms and the public areas. The reception zone leads directly into an open gallery-style corridor where artworks are displayed along straight walls, and examination rooms branch off this main path. The design keeps all storage and clinical equipment in built-in cabinetry to maintain an uncluttered appearance.
The treatment rooms follow a standard clinical layout with integrated desks, sinks, and diagnostic stations placed in clear sightlines. The gallery section uses adjustable picture rails and flexible lighting so the displays can change without affecting medical operations. Large windows bring daylight into the shared areas, and the space functions as a single continuous interior rather than a clinic with separate cultural zones.
