'Tis the season to be jolly and spread cheer, but judging by these interesting and sometimes downright strange Santa Clause innovations, established holiday traditions are not always the way to go when it comes to decorating, greeting cards and holiday treats.

These days, everything from Santas with six-pack abs, to lingerie models wearing Kris Kringle suits, to toilets covered in Saint Nick's face, can be found during the holiday season.

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, these odd and mind-boggling Santa Clause innovations are sure to make you laugh, cringe, or simply puzzle you. While bloody depictions of Santa or evil Santa toys might not be part of my decorating scheme during the holidays, they certainly are great conversation-starters during holiday parties.
