The financial crisis and corresponding credit crunch has had a severe impact on businesses; this week alone, Circuit City has announced a bevy of store closures and employee layoffs. Unfortunately, they’re not the only casualties of the credit crunch.
Circuit City and Yahoo have both been forced to lay off thousands of employees. Conversely, New York City strip clubs and artists have been reaping the fruits of credit crunch woes.
At least Circuit City employees will get a formal pink slip rather than the blog post rebuff Tesla employees got earlier this week.
