Viral Temporary Renamed Stores

67-Eleven Replaced 7-Eleven Branding at a Stockholm Location

67-Eleven refers to a temporary renaming of a 7-Eleven convenience store in central Stockholm, where an additional “6” was added to the existing sign to create the altered name. The change took place in late December 2025 and was implemented as a short-term marketing activation rather than an act of vandalism. The renamed storefront referenced the “6-7” meme that circulated widely across social media platforms, where the nonsensical pairing gained traction through repetition rather than meaning. Photos and videos of the altered sign spread quickly online, prompting visitors to stop by the location and document the change.

The stunt was developed by a Swedish creative agency in collaboration with 7-Eleven Sweden, which allowed the modified signage to remain in place for several days. During the activation, the store continued normal operations while leaning into the altered name across in-store visuals. The signage was restored to its original branding before the end of the year.
