This Ontario Pharmacy Marketing Stunt Informs Consumers

In celebration of Pharmacist Awareness Month, a pharmacy marketing stunt was set up in order to prove that healthcare professionals from the Ontario Pharmacists Association are good for more than just pushing pills.

The awareness stunt was set up in Toronto's Eaton Center, featuring an interactive wall in order to show some of the health issues that medical professionals are able to assist with. This includes resources to stop smoking, flu shots, as well as aids to deal with chronic ailments like diabetes and asthma. As well as providing an intriguing station to reel curious shoppers in, there were Ontario pharmacists on-site to chat with the public.

Since healthcare professionals are often found in very formal, sterile settings, this stunt was a helpful way to bring pharmacists out from behind the counter and make them more approachable.
