A luminescent FirstBank billboard will greet travelers returning from the Denver ski slopes. The glow-in-the-dark advertisement is part of the Colorado bank's “helpfulness" campaign, headed by the TDA Boulder agency.

The large sign uses electro-luminescent vinyl technology from Safe Lites. Located on the I-70, facing eastbound traffic, the FirstBank Billboard will illuminate the night sky, keeping drivers alert with its glowing presence.

Implications - Businesses have changed billboards and ads into something that's more than just an image of the product. Television and the Internet have allowed them to think outside of the box in coming up with techniques that will lure consumers to advertisements. Whether it's viral marketing or extravagant billboards, brands will always find new ways to attract consumers via media by any means necessary. Stats for Glow-in-the-Dark Ads Trending: Older & Mild
