Grass, as a multifunctional material has been creeping its way into fashion, furniture and more. A natural pairing for eco-friendly statement products, grassy imagery is a natural fit for publicity stunts related to sustainability.

One of the most subversive uses for grass is referred to as "mowing graffiti" -- a phenomenon in which people strategically cut grass to spell out a message (some of which can be very daring).

This organic material is bound to keep popping up in places outside of the lawn.
