To the dismay of old-school Yankee lovers, the original stadium was recently closed. To ease the pain, they're selling everything from bricks to freeze-dried grass for sports fans to own.

Stadium seating is up for grabs, as well as strips of grass. You can even choose if you want a small patch of grass, or even the long stretch between first and second base. But be warned, that length of grass will cost you $6000.

Implications - When a devoted fanbase is cultivated by a product or personality, the followers are generally willing to pay for memorabilia at a huge premium. Businesses who have access to such memorabilia should be more inclined to sell them to their followers -- this would not only net impressive profits, but could act as a powerful publicity move.
