This 'Spiro' seating system was designed by Zoran Sunjic to dress up urban places, and it does so in spades. The clean, elegant lines of the benches remind me of ribbons.

Implications - Seating may be considered a mundane product to produce in the eyes of many, and yet cool takes on such products continue to be both practical purchases and indulgences for consumers. Companies that put fun twists on everyday products will be able to overcome appearing mundane.
