From Artisanal Culinary Boutiques to Beauty Bar Eateries

Artisan-style and market-inspired food merchandising continues to dominate much of the in-store displays, especially where produce is concerned. Rustic displays made from unvarnished wood recall the imagery of a farmer's market and can go a long way in terms of making the choice feel like a healthy one.

Point-of-sale displays that highlight last minute order additions are often either meticulously organized or haphazardly overflowing with selection, the latter mirroring the feel of a busy market stall. Often, crisp produce is seen lushly displayed throughout the store as a means to communicating the freshness of the product on offer.

Pastry shops may display delicate offerings in museum-like lighting against stark all-white interiors that feel fresh, refined and indulgent.
