The top 2015 youth trends reveal an effort to turn playtime into an educational activity. For children of all ages, playtime is important for building social skills and encouraging creative thinking. However, playtime can also serve as an opportunity to develop specific skills such as reasoning and logic.

Indeed, the past year has seen toys take on an increasingly educational focus. More specifically, these toys aim to teach skills that are increasingly in demand such as coding and robotics. Popular examples include educational board games, smart dinosaur toys and child coding playsets.

The top 2015 youth trends also reveal that these kinds of educational activities are not just limited to young children. Indeed, tweens and even teenagers are also interested in products that encourage learning in a tactile and interactive way.
