The Zig and Zag lights designed by Jean Francois Crochet for Terzani give a whole new meaning to the word minimalist. These lights take up a fraction of the room a wall lamp or track lights would on your walls. They are made with a satiny-nickel exterior and fissures have been created in the stem to let the light "escape" from the halogen bulb housed inside. They might be impractical, but they sure are high-tech chic.
