Powdery Dramatic Portraits

The Zach Rose Antique photo series is a collection of powdery portraits that are both dark and relatively dramatic. Further, I can't help but appreciate the simplicity of the shoot as well, which allows you to fully focus on every detail of the series, from the grainy powder in the air to the subtle emotions on the faces of Rose's subjects.

Though this photo concept has been done before, the Zach Rose Antique photo series really focuses on all of these details to set it apart from the rest. The Buffalo, New York City-based photographer really has a grasp on not only lighting, but also composition, which helped him execute this great photo series.
