Streaming services are now getting another competitor in the ring thanks to YouTube Red Original Shows. Although the premium service has been up and running for a bit now, original series and movies are only starting to roll out now. Beginning with four, they will be produced by such YouTube creators as Rooster Teeth, Maker Studios, and AwesomenessTV while starring personalities like Lilly Singh and PewDiePie.

Now in addition to such perks as ad-free videos, offline video viewing, in-the-background audio on mobile and access to YouTube Music, Google Play Music and YouTube Gaming, people will be able to enjoy YouTube Red Original Shows. 'A Trip to Unicorn Island,' 'Dance Camp,' 'Lazer Team' and 'Scare PewDiePie' will be the first movies and series.
