It can be hard for today's youth to be taken seriously in such a dense political climate, but one platform dubbed Youth Radio, is aimed at connecting teens with community-focused ideas to industry professionals who can bring those ideas to fruition.
The platform invites young people to submit their ideas on bettering the community. The ideas are then brought to the app developers at MIT, who work with the young people to create something tangible that can really make a difference in the community.
In an official statement, the brand said that, "We believe that it’s not enough for young people to use existing digital platforms. They need to be the ones creating the online and mobile tools that increasingly determine who knows what, how news travels, and what makes change possible."
