British TV broadcaster Channel 4 is trying something pretty unconventional and has created a show about seniors being introduced to modern youth culture. If someone ever wanted to watch grandmas smoking up, now is their chance. The pilot episode for 'A Granny's Guide to Modern World" just aired and viewers got to see three lovely elderly women -- Margot, Trish and Daphne -- in Amsterdam where they tried out experimental drugs. The audience was also introduced to grandpas too, like 94 year old Bobby who was trying to understand what words were the right ones to use when speaking to people of colour. There's even one granny, Laura, who attempts to swear at strangers the way young Brits do.

The new show introducing seniors citizens to European youth culture might seem strange but from an entertainment standpoint, one can see the hilarity in it. Also, it's an interesting attempt to try and bridge the gap between different generations -- perhaps proving to be insightful information for brands.
