'Alo Gives' Brings Yoga and Meditation for Kids in School

Apparel company Alo Yoga created Alo Gives as a nonprofit foundation that devotes itself to sharing yoga and meditation for kids. As the powerful mind-body practices of meditation and yoga can help to alleviate anxiety, support a clear mind for learning and enhanced emotional and physical strength, millions of kids have been positively impacted by the brand's initiatives.

To help kids, parents and teachers alike, Alo Yoga released a series of classroom-friendly five-minute video classes, all of which can be accessed online at no cost. Ultimately, Alo Yoga aims to offer an expanded Scholastic-approved curriculum for kids of all ages and grades from preschool to high school.

Week one of the classroom-friendly yoga videos begin with Animal Yoga and Breathing, followed by themes in the following 12 weeks that encourage kids to 'Be Brave,' 'Be Strong' and more.
