Star Wars: Mindfulness & Movement Series Teaches Kids Focus and Calm

The Star Wars: Mindfulness & Movement series teaches kids focus and calm through short animated videos created in partnership between Disney, Lucasfilm, and GoNoodle, a platform known for children’s movement and social-emotional learning content. The inaugural video in the series, “Balanced Breathing with Grogu,” features the character Grogu guiding children through simple breathing and gentle movement exercises designed to help them reset, refocus, and manage their energy in classroom or home settings.

Rather than emphasising action or narrative adventure, the videos integrate familiar Star Wars characters into activities that blend movement, mindfulness and play, making concepts like breath awareness and calm accessible for young audiences. “Balanced Breathing with Grogu” is available on GoNoodle’s dedicated Star Wars channel and on YouTube, giving teachers and parents flexible access for use during transitions or quiet moments. Additional episodes featuring other characters and themed exercises are planned throughout 2026 to extend the series’ focus on emotional regulation and healthy habits.
