Taking traditional origami techniques, Yingxi Zhou creates this line titled 'Facet,' which looks like a folded piece of wood transformed into a bag.
The bag can be used for a multitude of things, such as a handy fashion accessory or even a more practical use of keeping items organized in a cupboard. Because of the origami shape employed, the bag can be broken down to lie completely flat. Considering space can be an issue for anyone living in a smaller apartment, having this option would be ideal, instead of having boxes that take up far too much room in the closet.
Yingxi Zhou manages to take a traditional technique and transform it into a functional design with the Facet bag, which will hopefully inspire more items of this kind.
