Xavier Degueldre Upcycles Old Carts for Seating

— September 30, 2014 — Art & Design
Most people would simply look at shopping carts as a way to move food around a grocery store, but Xavier Degueldre has managed to see this items for a new purpose. After a bit of deconstructing and maneuvering, he has transformed the items into upcycled chairs, that can even roll around.

Because most shopping carts are thrown away after a certain amount of time, Xavier Degueldre was on a mission to do something more with these items. To him it seemed like a waste, so why not experiment with what can be done? The result is these chairs that still look half like shopping carts, and half like an interesting desk chair (but I would recommend using a pillow on the wired surface)!
