Walsh Whiskey’s 13th-edition Writers’ Tears Cask Strength Whiskey is an ultra-premium whisky boasting a rare combination of triple-distilled, aged Single Pot Still and Single Malt Whiskey, with a natural non-chill filtering process and maturation in American Oak Bourbon barrels. It is cask strength and available only at specialty liquor stores. Each bottle of Writers' Tears has a unique number and the creator, Bernard Walsh’s signature.
The whiskey has a sweet scent of creme caramel and wild honey, while hints of salted caramel-dipped almonds, florals, and hazelnuts are present in the flavor profile. It finishes with heavy notes of toasted oak and ginger spice.
