WWE and TikTok, the social media platform, entered into a partnership to create new wrestling content. The partnership entails that WWE will have an official account on the TikTok platform. TikTok users will also be able to access entrance themes from famous wrestlers, including Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Sasha Banks, and more. Additionally, WWE will be posting interactive wrestling content each day to the platform.
Partnering with TikTok will allow WWE to reach younger audiences. This is because 60% of United States users are between the ages of 16 and 24. The partnership will also help the social media platform, as WWE currently has approximately 1 billion followers across various social networks.
Other prominent athletic organizations have also partnered with TikTok, including the NFL and NBA.
