Using only shady memories of physics class and the World Wide Web via computer and mobile, a 20-year-old Chinese farmer has built himself a wooden helicopter.
Wu Zhongyuan built the wooden helicopter out of a steel frame (pipes), a motorcycle engine (150cc) and wood from an elm tree.
Although the Chinese government won’t let him fly for safety reasons, Wu Zhongyuan says his wooden helicopter can reach up to 2,600 feet. Now that is an intense DIY project!
