The 'Grey Wolf' Can Handle Diverse Operations At Reduced Cost

Boeing has launched a high-tech military helicopter that is designed to offer versatile operations o the U.S. Air Force whilst also managing to offer significant savings over the course of fleet lifetime.

The 'Grey Wolf' is a multi-mission chopper that is based on the company's 'AW139' commercial helicopter and takes advantage of a tested design and off-the-shelf components to offer savings without compromising on performance. In fact, the 'Grey Wolf' is said to be capable of cruising 50 percent faster, flying 50 percent farther and lifting 5,000 pounds more than its predecessor platform. Elsewhere the helicopter offers advanced avionics and flight deck technologies, with the option of full autopilot helping to alleviate crew burden.

From missile security to airlift missions, this military helicopter is designed to handle an array of tasks while creating significant cost savings.
