The Slab Black Wooden Alarm Clock by Ginko is a fun design that merges tech with nature. The alarm clock looks like a plain block of wood, but its bright LED display can be turned on to bring it to life. There are several ways to do this with sound, including setting the alarm off, snapping your fingers, clapping your hands, or even rapping on the top of the clock lightly.
The displays will light up to reveal information such as the time, date and temperature and once all has gone quiet, the display will disappear, making the alarm look just like a solid block of wood. If you don't like a lot of visual noise in your house, this minimal clock is the perfect one to have around, especially since it can be easily activated, even in the dark.
