As the economy took a dive, the leading ladies of America have not. The 'Women and the Economy' infograph is showing that women are more prominently featured in huge roles than ever before.
The infograph takes an in-depth look at where the economy has created the most growth for women and gives a nod to Bank of America, CISCO, General Mills and IBM for being the "best companies for women." Of the Fortune 500 companies, 18 are lead by female CEOs -- a far cry from even 20 years ago. Unlike the economic growth, the 'Women and the Economy' infographic points out that in the area of politics, women still have a while to go, but are nevertheless an active force in that arena as well.
