The Wired Stump Outdoor Furniture collection offers a unique take on the classic stool. While it sports a stump-like surface that pays tribute to nature and natural surroundings, the rest of the stool has a completely different aesthetic. As though inspired by the '90s, the bottom part of the stool is made up of colorful wires shaped in a messy mass that resembles random scribbles.
Created by Peter Jakubik, a designer based in Slovakia, the Wired Stump Outdoor Furniture collection uses a combination of rebar and pine wood. The original wood pieces have been shaped into polygons and then coated with a simple oil finish. Available in various sizes, the stools can easily be used as side tables.
