The plastic receptacles of each item were produced thanks to factory mold, but the individualized busts were actually hand-sculpted, eliminating the possibility that such objects might be copied. That was a cautious move, because now the latest eBay bid is over $12,500. The hype surrounding the William and Kate Pez Dispensers is not undue, since profits go to the Starlight Children's Foundation charity.
