Johnnie Walker's Newest Whisky Blends Feature "Ghost" Distilleries

Diageo Reserve recently launched Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare, whisky blends made with irreplaceable whiskies from "ghost" distilleries.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare which is described as a blend of eight treasured Scotch whiskies, plus "three 'ghost' whiskies from the silent distilleries of Cambus, Pittyvaich and the Highland Single Malt, Brora." As a result, the whisky blend is said to have a subtle sweetness from pineapple, hazelnut and dark chocolate.

In this series, Johnnie Walker will also be exploring malt and grains from existing distilleries across Royal Lochnagar, Clynelish, Glenkinchie, Glenlossie and Cameronbridge. As whiskies from lost distilleries are becoming increasingly rare, this special series from Johnnie Walker gives consumers the chance to taste some of Scotland's rarest and most prized spirits.
