Artist Luis Enrique Rayas created a mash-up of Wes Anderson films. Rayas was inspired by the ‘Centered’ video that showcased Anderson’s love on symmetry.
‘Kaleidoscoped’ takes the ‘Centered’ clips and reflects them onto themselves to create a kaleidoscopic effect. The result is eye-popping and super surreal. You may not be able to figure out what's being shown in each clip; its all chopped, mashed up and warped. You see Bill Murray’s face blur into the rat from The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Faces; eyeballs and chandeliers morph together to create this celebration of Wes Anderson’s symmetrical scenes from his beloved movies.
You won’t know which film you’re looking at unless you're a die-hard Anderson fan, but either way this fantastical piece of art is worth seeing.
