Wellness-focused luxury resorts are expanding in Asia as Minor Hotels announces Gardens of Eden Resort Phuket, the region's first property under its Minor Reserve Collection brand. Scheduled to open in 2031, the development will combine upscale accommodations, residential living, and wellness facilities within a nature-oriented destination near Phuket's western coastline.
The 310-key property will feature 100 hotel rooms and 210 residences available through the resort. A dedicated wellness centre spanning more than 5,000 square metres will complement several dining venues, including an organic café. Designed by Martin Palleros of Tierra Design, the resort will form part of a larger 33-acre luxury development.
For Minor Hotels, the project strengthens its presence in Asia's luxury hospitality market while introducing its newest collection to Thailand. Combining residential accommodations with resort services creates opportunities to attract international visitors seeking extended stays and wellness experiences.
