This new ad by Weight Watchers Australia breaks away from the traditional formula of weight-loss ads by urging people to mold the best version of themselves rather than try to aspire to a body image made famous by celebrities and people in their own lives. The ad urges weight watchers to focus on connecting with themselves, rather than trying to gain others’ approval and praise.
The theme of the ad is ‘Awaken your incredible,’ and reminds viewers that they may have lost track with their core personhood while tackling weight problems and other challenges life throws up. The idea is communicated in a simple but highly moving one-minute ad spot.
