The Olympics are fast approaching and Canada is letting its pride show with the We Are Winter campaign. Long known for being strong competitors in the winter games (it broke the record for number of gold medals won at a Winter Olympics event back in 2010 in Vancouver) Canada has begun showcasing its star athletes and renewing and strengthening its cultural connection to and association with winter.

The campaign features beautiful print ads of various athletes, both English and French-speaking, and a poem in their native tongue expressing their feelings about winter.

The We Are Winter Campaign is patriotic and inspiring and reaffirms that winter is more than blizzards and ice storms and subfreezing weather. In Canada, winter is a way of life and that is something that will see many gold medals for the Canadian Olympic team.
