Walmart and Platform Science Have Partnered on a New Initiative

Walmart and Platform Science have partnered to improve the experience of drivers by incorporating some of the latest technologies into the fleet. The partnership will see interactive tablets implemented into the cab of trucks to provide a driver workflow application and integration with NTransit. The integrations will drastically enhance driver capabilities and keep them connected during long-haul trips.

Walmart Vice President of Innovation and Automation Product Scott Donahue spoke on the Walmart and Platform Science partnership saying, "Not only are we offering industry-leading benefits, compensation and development programs, but we have implemented two technology tools that work together to create a world-class driver experience and provide real-time visibility to the day-to-day operations of our network of more than 12,000 drivers."
